Description
SERVEX LX7-3000 WHEEL ALIGNER
The LX7-3000 is delivered with all components packed inside the mobile display cabinet and is partially assembled therefore it requires very little effort to commence operation.
The LX7-3000 Laser Wheel Aligner has been engineered with the operator in mind, it is easy to use with only a basic mechanical knowledge required.
The LX7-3000 consists of:
A pair of laser heads, emitting a total of 4 beams.
A set of 4 wheel clamps.
A pair of rear mirrors with run out scales.
A digital camber, caster and SAI gauge reading in degrees and decimal.
A pair of front wheel turntables, continuos rotation and 50mm side movement.
A pair of rear slip plates.
The LX7-3000 has no cords or strings; it uses solid-state laser technology for TOE and geometry checks and an electronic digital read-out gauge for Camber, Caster and SAI measurement. Toe Out On Turns (TOOT) is read directly off the turntables.
The laser heads are attached to the wheels with quick-acting self-centering clamps, which contact the rim with 3 fingers or in the case of alloy rims, MAG Wheel Adaptors, the clamps are locked into place with tyre grippers, therefore causing no distortion to the rim.
Run-out compensation is normally not needed, however the facility to perform a run-out compensation on previously distorted rims is built into the clamp.
The laser heads, RH and LH, constitute the heart of the LX7-3000.
Each head houses a laser module with 2 beams preset at precisely 90° to one another.
One beam is directed to the opposite wheel to read TOE whilst the other beam is directed towards the rear for 4 wheel geometry checks including rear TOE and Thrust.
Each laser head contains it’s own rechargeable battery pack, enabling the wheel aligner to be used without being directly connected to mains power.
The machine is equipped with a twin charger, both heads can be charged at the same time.
This will enable the laser head batteries to be recharged quickly, from flat to fully charged in about 4 hours. A full charge will last approximately 18 – 24 hours of continuous operation between charges.
For portability the LX7-3000 is stowed on a functional cabinet so as to take up minimum floor space and can be conveniently wheeled to any work area.
